"I recently became a new customer with State Farm and worked with this office to set up three new policies. Initially, Scott was helpful over the phone and assisted me in getting everything started, which I appreciated as a first-time client. However, my experience quickly became frustrating and concerning. I later learned that State Farm operates through individual agent offices, which was not clearly explained upfront. Since this office is about two hours away from me, I asked about transferring my policies to a closer location. I was told by Scott that the only option was to cancel my policies entirely. After speaking with another State Farm office, I found out this was incorrect and that I could request a transfer through the app without canceling coverage. Another major issue was the lack of transparency regarding my home policy. It would have been helpful if Scott had clearly explained from the beginning that State Farm may not insure homes with structures connected to a mobile home. He mentioned having many years of experience, so this is something that should have been communicated upfront. What was most concerning was that I was not properly notified that my home policy was at risk of being canceled. I only found out through my bank, which is unacceptable especially during tornado season in Michigan. This lack of communication left me uninsured. Overall, while the initial setup was smooth, the misinformation, lack of transparency, and poor communication created a stressful and potentially risky situation. I would recommend that new customers double-check information and ensure everything is clearly explained when working with this office."

"(ZERO STARS) TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would which is why I decided to cancel my renter's insurance policy with them. I felt like I was robbed not just by when my home was broken into, but now a second time by these people, because it was very difficult for me to get in touch with someone & I was already dealing with so much because of the break in & these people did not make it easy for me. I felt like I was robbed by these people because I didn't even get cut a check for my stolen property so I had to start off brand new by paying out of pocket which all of my stuff or even most of my stuff should have been covered by my renter's insurance policy. There was one woman who kept trying to get in contact with me, but I kept missing her call, & every time I tried to get back in contact with her when her voice comes up on her voicemail it did not make any sense because her voicemail had stated that she would be out of the office for almost a year with the dates that were being given at the time. My home was broken into over a year ago. This had happened to me on Saturday, August 24th of 2024 sometime around 4:00 PM It was not just some material stuff that was stolen from my home but it was also my safety that was stolen from me. I have left several voicemail messages. I have also replied to one of their emails that was sent to me & I never got anywhere with any of them. I tried to contact the main building to let them know everything that was happening & I felt like I still haven't gotten anywhere with them. I was asked for proof such as receipts, which I never keep but I do have a list that I had written down to keep track of everything. This is why I decided to cancel my renter's insurance policy with them & as of today, I still do not feel comfortable with any kind of agency, because it feels like I am just paying them money but then they will put you through a struggle, trying to get a check for what you have lost."
